NOTES AND DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:Paracostus has one other species (African - Paracostus englerianus) - characterized by almost creeping habit and few flowered. I was hoping to photograph this species in flower at Fairchild Gardens, but unfortunately it did not survive there.
NATURAL DISTRIBUTION:Borneo, forests from sea level to 300 m.
