W3Tropicos: Described as "procumbent" or "prostrate". Limited description data from W3Tropicos specimen collection.

Maas mentions this in Notes on Asiatic and Australian Costoidae. Described with one-leaved stems, terminal inflorescence, very pale green 25 mm corolla, white, yellowish tinged labellum 25 X15 mm.
NATURAL DISTRIBUTION:Africa - Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra-Leone, Gabon, in forest understory
