The Genus Zingiber in Thailand - Pramote Triboun
Mr. Triboun gave an overview of the genus Zingiber in Thailand and explained that the original author who described the genus in 1545 was Miller. He said there is a wide variety of bract colors and shapes among the 37 taxa that have so far been recognized in Thailand. The floral characters, such as the shape and color of the labellum are useful for species identification.
