Grows up to 3 meters tall with elongated, elliptic leaves. Pseudostem, leaves and bracts are all very hairy like 'Alan's Red'. Inflorescence is terminal making a cone similar to 'Red Feathers' but acutely triangular bracts at the apex without bract appendages. The flowers are tubular (not flared) and orange in color.
