FORMAL SCIENTIFIC NAME:
Unidentified species grown from seeds collected near Gualaquiza, Ecuador along the road to Sigsig. Plant flowered at 1 1/2 meters, thin sprialing stem, short ligules, long narrow leaves, inflorescence terminal, bracts green on exposed part, reddish covered part, not appendaged, flower large wide open labellum with reddish stripes, unusual corolla lobes thin to nearly translucent and curling away from labellum.
