BOTANICAL NOTES:
Unknown origin, received from Carla Black in Panama. Named and introduced by Dave Skinner. 'Purple Passion' is similar to 'Pink Lips' except that the undersides of the leaves and the ligules are a deep purple color. The plant grows to about 1 meter high with a strong spiral shape, vegetative parts are glabrous, ligule deep purple, truncate, 5 mm long.
