BOTANICAL NOTES:
Osia Gideon Monograph (NOTE: He spelled as T. recurvatum, not recurvatus): Listed as a terminal flowering species withrecurved bracts, bright or pale red to yellowish, apex acuminate, margins toward apex inflexed. Bracts herbaceous, capsule 14-20 seeds per fruit, seeds large 3.3 to 4.3 by 3.0 to 3.8 mm; bracts 50-74 mm long, endemic to Gogol Valley, Madang
